Liza Hoffman, MSW, LICSW

Strategic Advisor

Liza Hoffman is a healthcare innovation leader with over a decade of experience driving digital transformation across federally qualified health centers, academic medical centers, digital health startups, and government agencies. As a strategic advisor, Liza leverages her diverse background to facilitate cross-functional partnerships that move innovation from ideation to execution. She specializes in bridging the gap between emerging technologies and real-world adoption.

Throughout her career, Liza has led complex strategic initiatives focused on modernizing healthcare delivery systems and reducing the digital divide. As a social worker at Cambridge Health Alliance, she played a foundational role in launching CHA’s Primary Care Behavioral Health Integration program, improving provider wellbeing and increasing access to critical behavioral health services. At the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, Liza joined a technology startup to build one of the largest Medication for Opioid Use Disorder telehealth treatment programs; she established the necessary foundations to scale from 200 to 10,000+ patients nationally. While leading AI strategy at Community Care Cooperative, Liza vetted 40+ digital health solutions, and co-chaired an AI working-group of FQHC executives to facilitate peer learning and resource sharing.

With her combined clinical and tech leadership experience, Liza brings a multidisciplinary perspective to digital health vendor evaluation, ensuring that new solutions will create measurable value and positive impact across stakeholders.

Liza earned her Master of Social Work from Simmons University and was awarded a fellowship to complete the Harvard Macy Institute Program for Educators in Health Professions.
